What We Do

Organic Gardening in harmony with the local environment

Based in the Tyne Valley and servicing the surrounding areas, Heritage Country Gardening is a local and personal garden maintenance service provider for commercial and residential customers.

Our aim is to provide high quality gardening both on a regular basis and for one off ‘spruce up’ projects, all completed as organically and as low impact as possible.

We pride ourselves on our professional, customer centred approach and will happily offer advice and follow your lead as required – it’s your garden after all!

Year-Round Maintenance

Work includes weeding, pruning, mulching, planting, leaf clearing, gutter clearance and jet-washing paving and driveways.

Garden Clearance

Probably one of the most satisfying jobs! Clearing shrubs and undergrowth, relocating or lifting plants, preparing the soil and setting up composting.

Lawn Care

Mowing, edging and strimming, either collecting cutting or mulching them back in to promote growth. We can also create mini wild meadows to support the bees.

Trees and Shrubs

Keep your hedges, shrubs and trees in top shape. We trim, prune and clip with next years growth and the overall structure of your design always in mind

My name is Adam and I’ve been successfully running Heritage Country Gardening for over 4 years now, since I formed the business in late 2020.

Whilst that was a difficult year for most of us, what followed for me has been simultaneously the most rewarding and enlightening and the most challenging and character testing period of my life, with heartwarming and heartbreaking times in something like equal measure!

2024 has been a particularly awful year for us as a family, but what has helped me deal with the tragedy and betrayal has been the unwavering support of not only my wife and our closest family, but also of our lovely customers, who I feel are all my friends (many of them close friends now!) - not to mention the mental and spiritual salve of working in their beautiful gardens year round, week in, week out.

Weather wise, 2024 has been literally a wash out and I’m absolutely buzzing with excitement and optimism to get a hopefully sunnier and brighter 2025 underway. I cant wait to see what results the work of our last few years brings to the gardens under my care.

If you are need of help with your garden and are looking for a proven local guy (and his family and team!) who work hard and a business with geniune experience of plants and gardens in this area, then please get in touch. We are often fully booked year round, but don't let this put you off - personally I’d rather be on the waiting list for an expert than have have an amateur turn up next day. Theres probably a reason that Mr 50 Facebook comments has an empty diary, no matter what his friends say...

For everyone else, I’d like to share the journey as I grow my plants, my business and myself, so welcome, and enjoy the ride!

Adam
